Organization Mission

E4C’s mission is to improve the lives of underserved communities by better preparing the global development workforce, optimizing the solutions development cycle, and ensuring public health and safety.

Area of Focus

E4C is a hybrid organization with three integrated arms: An online academy, innovation lab, and a media platform - https://www.engineeringforchange.org. But at our essence, we are a community that believes engineering can change the world.

E4C Founding Organizations
E4C was founded by an alliance of global engineering organizations — ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers), EWB-USA (Engineers Without Borders-USA) and IEEE. The E4C alliance represents over 500,000 engineers and technologists from industry, academia and government throughout the world.
